The first appointment is an opportunity to meet the designer, in our showroom with your architectural plans or at your residence where the site can be measured and you can discuss with them what it is you are hoping to achieve.
During this initial appointment you can advise any preferences you may already have in regards to material use or overall layout. Ultimately you will gauge whether the ideas and expertise from the designer are what you are looking for. After the first appointment you will know whether or not you wish to continue developing your design and project with Kitchens by Design.
Move forward with a second appointment and during that meeting a design is presented.
Depending on the nature of your project, the designer may initially present a couple of different floor plans for you to consider.
Generally they present a detailed design that could include 3D rendered images to provide an overall concept of the kitchen including colours. The next step to progress is the final stage of design.
The final stage is a process of polishing the design to a point where you are completely satisfied and we can then provide your final design package and a quote if requested.
The full design package will include plans, elevations, plumbing and electrical details as well as a schedule of materials and finishes. (see example)
You are welcome to just purchase the design package or proceed with our quote if you would prefer for us to see the project to completion
Please note that our design fee will act as a deposit if you decide to proceed with our quote at a later date.
